Anoia is peaceful region near Barcelona with a unique beauty. The trip goes above wheat and barley fields, vineyards and Mediterranean forests. The Anoia region has a long history in hot air ballooning, becoming the perfect place to enjoy this activity. There is one of the biggest hot air balloon factories in the world. Igualada, the capital of the region, also holds the European Balloon Festival, a hot air balloon festival that joins pilots from all over the world during the second week of July.
